07.26.2010 – Laurie Ruettimann, Mark Stelzner and Yasha Stelzner have formed New Media Services LLC, a company that will deliver industry-specific content to conference attendees through virtual and new media platforms. The company will initially launch products and services in two related markets: Human Resources and Careers.

“We see an opportunity to provide a better conference experience in today’s business environment,” says Mark Stelzner, adding that, “It’s a noisy, busy world and many attendees struggle to convert their newly formed connections into highly meaningful and sustainable relationships.”

Conference attendees expect more for their money than a keynote speaker and a boxed lunch in an expo hall. “Engagement is key, and we envision an experience where attendees have comprehensive access to speakers, ideas, and a community of professionals who are ready to turn ideas into action,” says Laurie Ruettimann.

To help with this endeavor, New Media Services LLC has formed an advisory board and will seek counsel from Peter Freire and Sue Meisinger, two highly respected business leaders in the Human Capital marketplace. Freire most recently served as the General Manager and Executive Director of the Human Capital/Human Resources division of the Corporate Executive Board. Meisinger is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of the Society of Human Resource Management.

Known for pushing the boundaries of career advice and technology, the founders of New Media Services LLC will offer solutions to help careerists find a job, keep a job, and get promoted to the next great job in a chaotic and confusing economic market.
